Amoda Tea Subscription Box- November 2018

Time for November’s Amoda tea box review! If you are a tea lover like me, then this monthly box is a must try for you!

Amoda Tea subscription box is a monthly tea subscription where they send 4 new flavors of tea every month. These teas are specially sourced from various companies who blend them in small batches. The main idea of this company is to allow tea lovers like us discover new blends more easily. So basically they do the tea hunting on our behalf bringing us the best blends of the season.

The cost of the box is $20 USD per month and there is no additional shipping cost to US and Canada.

So what does the box contain?

Each box comes with 4 different kinds of tea and 10 tea bags along with a cute tea related postcard every month. They also add an information leaflet detailing about all the tea included in the box. Amoda Tea tries to include tea of different caffeine levels, however, if you are a light sleeper you can always select a low caffeine option! Each pouch of tea included will make about 3-5 cups of tea, and therefore each box will produce 12-20 cups of tea in total depending on your usage.

Also, they have a tasty tea guarantee! If you don't like tea in your current box, then they add a different tea on your next box! This month’s postcard is too cute where they displayed their new logo! Head over to their website to check it out!

Now, let’s talk about the tea.

St. Fiacre’s Farm Opal Creek Orange Spice Tea

This organic oolong tea is just perfect if you need a little kick in the evening. Low in caffeine, this tea is made up of Oolong, Orange Peel, cinnamon, clove, marigold, calendula, and orange extract. This spiced tea is perfect for a winter evening when you want to experience a bit of fall!

Just Tea Cacao Purple Tea

The name of this tea was really interesting to me! This tea is made up of cacao shells, purple tea, and rose petals.

This tea has a very light and delicate flavor and so I usually drink it in the morning with a clear taste palette!

New Moon Tea Co. Sunrise to Sunset

This is my first time trying Hojicha! Unlike most other teas that are usually steamed, this tea is roasted on the fire. This tea contains Hojicha, ginger root, lemon peel, rosemary, calendula, and Chamomile. The tea tastes quite smoky, probably because the tea is roasted! I loved the smokiness and spiced flavor of the tea and would definitely reorder this tea again!

New Moon Tea Co Lemon Ginger Tulsi

I really liked this herbal caffeine free tea! The tea is made up of Tulsi blend, ginger root, lemon grass, and lemon peel. This tea will be perfect if you love a cup of tea after dinner! Love the taste of lemon in the tea.

I was impressed to get tea with a variety of caffeine levels in my November box! My favorite is the New Moon Tea Co. Sunrise to Sunset because this was my first time trying Hojicha and found the smokiness quite interesting!

Have to try this Subscription box yet? Which one is your favorite tea in the November box?
