Grown Alchemist: Polishing Facial Exfoliant
It’s quite remarkable to see how much the natural beauty market has grown over the past few years. With time we started getting more options on natural skincare brands that are not only affordable but also but also gorgeous looking! As the demand for natural beauty products started getting more and more popular, reviewers like us started testing them more and more such that you can have an understanding of the brand before you decide to invest on it. And therefore, I bring to you today a product from the Grown Alchemist skincare line.
I got to know about Grown Alchemist from FabFitFun when I received a chance to select one of their three products to try in my Fall 2018 Box.
Grown Alchemist is an Australian Skincare line, that's states to ‘formulate products which represent a new evolution in skincare’. They use a holistic scientific approach by which they identify the mechanisms that regulate the aging process of the body and skin.
I have been using Grown Alchemist’s polishing facial exfoliant for some weeks now and I can say it’s one of the few exfoliating face wash that actually did wonders for my skin.
The polishing facial exfoliant comes in a gorgeous 75ml grey tube. The price is $82 CAD and can be purchased at Grown Alchemist’s website.
The formula is not as thick as some of the exfoliants I have used before. The mixture is quite gentle on your skin and therefore does not leave your skin dry and irritated after use. The exfoliant consists of glucomannan from Konjac which absorbs excess oil and impurities while detoxifying your skin. The company claims that the polylactic acid and cornstarch will delaminate dry skin and dead cells, and stimulate regeneration. I think the face wash did quite a good job and clearing my dead cells because my skin felt quite soft and smooth after use. I felt no irritation and my skin was radiant and glowing. I love how healthy my skin looks now.
The exfoliant is quite gentle and therefore is great for all skin types. The formula is also vegan, free from petrochemicals, silicones, parabens, synthetics, fragrance and animal derivatives.
I am totally in love with Grown Alchemist’s polishing exfoliant and therefore has earned a space in my daily skincare routine! My skin feels so healthy and soft that I just keep touching it!
