The ARISE Box - Dreamer Box 2018

Hi guys! This September I bring to you The Arise Box and I am so thrilled. Cassidy, who in the runs this subscription box, sent me their fall box to review. So I would love to thank Cassidy for giving me this opportunity!

The Arise Box is a seasonal subscription box that sends 4 to 5 practical products that not only you can use for your daily life but also be meaningful to you. They send products that are ethical, sustainable or give-back brands. One time purchase o this box costs $55 USD, however, if you decide to subscribe yearly then you will be charged $180 USD in total which means the box would only cost you $45 USD. The best part which really attracted me to this box is that a part of your payment is used to create care packages who have been rescued from human trafficking. These care packages are filled with inspiring, practical and simple luxuries that these survivors will call their own. They have sent 80 care packages since 2016. I really love that this box is created for a cause, a cause we all can contribute to by supporting this box. Also, inside every box, you will receive a postcard designed by a survivor so you can write a personal note of encouragement to a survivor.

This dreamer box was filled with 4 gorgeous items along with the postcard I just mentioned above. First of all, I love the minimalist look of their box, which a plain white box with 'ARISE' printed on top. I won't post a photo of the actual box because, unfortunately, it was just destroyed by the Canadian Customs. Like most other boxes, Arise also includes a brochure which details all the items inside the box. The items included in the 2018 Fall Dreamer box are a Poncho by Muchana, Hot Chocolate by Divine Chocolate, Handmade Cards by Kurandza and a 3 pack essential oil towelettes by Happy Spritz.

Poncho by Muchana - Retail Price $80 USD

This exquisite pink pattern poncho is perfect for the upcoming Fall and Winter season. The fabric is 50% cotton and 50% wool and is handmade in Ecuador and is quite soft. The poncho will pair perfectly with jeans and a plain t-shirt.

Muchana supports Ecuadorian artisans, weavers, and craftsmen by creating high-quality and stylish accessories which can be one great reason for this company to be a part of Arise.

Hot Chocolate by Divine Chocolate- $7.99 USD

I tried this hot chocolate the very day I received my box and it was a splendid addition to my cozy raining evening! This hot chocolate is made by a cooperate in Ghana who shares the profit with the local farmers and supports them.

Handmade Cards by Kurandza- Set of 2

I love this set of cards as it comes with a cause I have been strongly supporting currently. These cards are helping a girl in Mozambique learn to read and write. They are a part of the #istandforgirls campaign and Arise helped raise funds to provide scholarships for 200 girls to go to school. I believe every girl should be able to go to school and learn more about the world and support themselves.

Essential Oil Towelettes by Happy Spritz- Set of 3

These essential oil towelettes by Happy Spritz are 100% biodegradable. It is made of plant fibers combined with distilled essential oils and is perfect for your face and body especially when you need to freshen up especially during traveling. I am definitely going to save them for my next destination travel!

Also, each one has a keynote and is of a different scent. 'Good Morning Beautiful' has organic citrus and lemon peel essential oil, 'Breathe Deeply' is made up of organic peppermint and eucalyptus essential, and 'Sweet Dream Darling' hints lavender and ylang-ylang essential oil.

All in all, I really appreciate the cause behind this box and really pleased with all the products included inside. If you are looking to order an Arise Box or want to know more about them in detail then click here.
