L’Oréal Pure Clay Mask- Clear and Comfort

L’Oréal has been a part of our life for a long time! True that right? You are L’Oréal lover unless you are allergic to alcohol or sensitive to the strong fragrance which this brand is well known for. Today I will be reviewing L’Oréal Pure Clay Mask- Clear and Comfort. Clay masks are a must have for a skincare routine especially if you want to treat yourself to an at-home spa twice a week.

This Blue mask is just gorgeous! The mask claims to absorb excess oil leaving your skin smooth and matte. Just a heads up to my reader with sensitive skin, this mask can cause irritation and breakout due to the high amount of drying alcohol in the formula. The scent is also quite overwhelming, however, because I like a strong scent, I am ok with it.

The mask is made up of 3 different kinds of clay- Kaolin, Montmorillonite and Moroccan lava clay, and seaweed. The seaweed is said to comfort the skin and make it clear. Even though the mask might only comfort skin that is not sensitive or dry, it is really good for combination to oily skin. It keeps surface oil in check leaving skin matte and clean.

The mask comes in a small tub with a twist-off lid. The two thing the stood out for me was the gorgeous blue color (which made me look like an AVATAR!) and the super smooth and creamy texture of the clay mixture.

How to Use

Use your fingers or a spatula to take out a good amount of clay and apply it evenly throughout your face avoiding eye and lip area. While applying make sure your skin is clean and dry. Keep the mask on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water. Its best to use it twice a week for the best result, however, if you use other masks during the week, then please limit it to once a week only.

My skin feels clean and smooth after every use. I do feel that it controls the oil level on my skin as my skin has been feeling less greasy over time of use. if you are suffering from oily and greasy skin and is not sensitive to dry alcohol and fragrance, then this might just be your next best friend.

Have you tried this gorgeous mask already? What do you think? Comment Below.
