INNISFREE: Its Real Squeeze Mask
A piece of paper with some serum in it- that is how we usually describe a face mask. But there is usually a lot more to that. Many masks claim to lift your skin, make it more bright and radiant whereas others claim to keep it hydrated.
One of the mask that I will review today is the Innisfree Aloe Mask. I actually ordered them from Innisfree website after getting intrigued by a lot of positive reviews. And let me reveal the secret already, I loved it!
It comes in a good sized packet like many other masks and is saturated in Aloe Vera serum. When you open the package, you will sense a hint of freshness in the air. This is the smell of the serum. The face mask is a little heavier than other masks because it is a three-layer sheet for better absorption. It is always a good idea to cleanse and tone your face before using the mask for better results. Once you place the mask on your face, you will feel the cold Aloe vera serum calming your skin making you feel fresh and relaxed. Similar to all other face masks, Innis free also creates a free size mask which can be too big for small faces.
I keep the mask for about 20-25 minutes. Because of my sensitive skin,I get a little tingling sensation on my skin for a couple of minutes which disappears soon after. Even though the direction indicates that the serum can be massaged on your face after removing the mask and kept as is, I prefer washing my face because the serum tends to get sticky after a while. However, after you wash your face, your face will feel really soft and pulpy.
After using it three times over a week, my friend noticed the tiredness on my face was gone and my skin looked healthier! And therefore I was very happy with the result.
Even though I loved this mask, I was disappointed about the packet not having extra serum for my neck and shoulder. However, I am sure, many of you will take it as a benefit as you will not get a dripping facemask that usually creates a mess !
