HAAGEN DAZS: Spirit Me

My husband always pushes me to the ice cream section everytime we go grocery shopping. He is an avid ice cream devourer and he never feels guilty about it. He will make sure to buy a box everytime. Usually he will buy his favorite ones, however, last month we stumbled upon this new spirit flavoured ice-cream by Haagen- Dazs and we knew we had to try. I am sure it is a dream come true for many because its like flying to Caribbean on a cold winter morning in Canada. They released this heavenly ice-cream in 5 different flavours: Rum and Vanilla Caramel Blondie, Whiskey Chocolate Truffle, Irish Crème Coffee & Biscotti, Vodka Key Lime Pie and Rum Ginger Cookie.

The two flavours that I decide to try are Whiskey Chocolate Truffle and Irish Crème Coffee & Biscotti (guess which one was chosen by me!). The spirit flavour is light and mingle on your pallette for a while. I love the Whiskey Choclate Truffle more because the taste of the whiskey is more prominent. The Irish crème was also good however for me the coffee flavour was overpowering. All in all, I think they did a pretty neat job getting this line out in the market!
